Built in 1914 as the west annex to the original Julia Tutwiler Hall, Adams Hall contains HES Consumer Sciences, Interior Design, and Human Development and Family Studies.
The building has multimedia classrooms, playrooms for child development research, the Consumer Science Resource Lab, faculty offices, and a class laboratory.
Julia Tutwiler Hall was the first dorm built exclusively for women on the university campus. In 1968 the building was demolished to make way for Rose Administration, but the west and east annexes were left standing. In 1980 the west annex was dedicated Adams Hall.
