The Student Media Building houses the Office of Student Media, which includes The Crimson White, Corolla, Southern Historian, The Black Warrior Review, The Marr's Field Journal, and 90.7 The Capstone.
The Crimson White newsroom is located on the second floor of the building, and The Crimson White Advertising Staff and Non-Traditional Advertising Staff are located on the first floor and in the basement.
The building was once the Chi Phi fraternity house and later housed the Dean of Students. Student Media moved into the building in the late 1980s.
