Completed in 1999, the Student Services Center consolidates all basic student services from across campus at one convenient location on the west side of Ferguson Plaza. Information on these services is listed below:
Action Card
An Action Card is the Official UA Identification Card and proclaims the holder a fully privileged member of the UA Community. It allows book check out for all University libraries and access to facilities, computer labs, and campus entertainment. It also can be used for debit account access, Bama Cash, and Dining Dollars.

Financial Aid
Student Financial Aid provides comprehensive information and services regarding opportunities to finance the cost of education at The University of Alabama. Financial assistance available through Financial Aid includes grants, scholarships, loans, student employment, and veteran's services.

Receivables and Collections
Receivables and Collections exists to record, bill and collect University receivables and receipts; disburse financial aid and student loans; and maintain related fiscal records of the University.

Testing Services
Testing Services serves University of Alabama students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community with test administration, test scoring and reporting, course evaluation, survey services, and data input.

University Registrar
University Registrar helps students enroll and then succeed by providing world-class customer service to faculty, staff, students, their families, and other stakeholders; with a particular emphasis toward processes related to academic records, academic progress, enrollment data, classroom support, and academic certification.

Undergraduate Admissions
Undergraduate Admissions recruits prospective freshmen and transfer students from in state, the southeast and nation wide and internationally while maintaining or improving quality. A combination of individualized and group recruitment occurs during private high school visits, college fairs, Undergraduate Admissions daily tours and special events on and off campus.
